Bonsai/Print - 2016

Over the course of a year, five Bonsai artists and five emerging printmakers worked together at Megalo Print Studios to create work for this unique exhibition. 

The artists were: John Hart, Sui Jackson, Amy Kerr-Menz, Peter McLean, Annika Romeyn, Wayne D, Roger H, Steve L, and Mike W

The project brought together two diverse creative groups so the participants can share ideas, exchange skills and gain and develop a deeper understanding of both Bonsai and Print Processes among the participants.

The collaborative element took on various forms and was principally inspired by the length of time required to grow and style a bonsai tree.

Participants shared technical expertise in both fields, and all undertook bushwalks, skill building workshops, and excursions to Bonsai collections.
